DAY FOR DANIEL FRIDAY 28 OCTOBER 2022
Students will be recognising Day for Daniel on Friday 28 October and are asked to wear a red sun safe t-shirt only (please wear correct school shorts / skirts, socks and shoes on this day, no coloured hair spray, hair bands or ribbons).
Held annually on the last Friday of October, Day for Daniel honours the memory of Daniel Morcombe. We ask all Australians on this very special day to wear red and educate.
The
theme for 2022 is 'Brave Conversations'. Parents, carers and educators are encouraged to start a conversation with children and young people about personal safety. Schools and early learning centres conduct child safety education activities. Businesses and community come together to raise awareness of child safety issues.
