Worongary State School

Worongary State School is a co-educational Prep - Year 6 state school situated in the Gold Coast Hinterland close to the Pacific Highway between Mudgeeraba and Nerang. Our school was opened in 1993 and currently has approximately 770 students.

Worongary prides itself on offering a primary education based on academic excellence, sporting development and cultural pursuits in a supportive and challenging school environment. Read and Grow

Read and Grow is a fun interactive story sharing program for parents and children 3-5 year old children who are not yet attending school.

Throughout the program we will learn to listen, sing songs, share books and play together. This is a great way to develop your child’s oral language skills and help prepare them for school.

You’re invited to attend our FREE Read and Grow Program with your 3-5 year old children

(It is not compulsory to attend all sessions)


When:            Tuesday 30 April until Tuesday 11 June 2019

                        9:00am to 9:45am

                        Where:  Prep A Classroom Worongary State School

Who:               Parents and their children (3-5years)

  (Smaller siblings are also welcome)
