Worongary has great sporting facilities, sporting culture and an enthusiastic staff with much expertise in a variety of sports.

Worongary participate in both winter and summer interschool sport competitions and always excel and achieve outstanding results. Winter sport involves students in rugby league, AFL, soccer and netball. The summer season consists of touch, softball and basketball. If any of those sports don't suit, participation in the "Active Sports" program based at school provides and ensures active fun, physical activities for every senior student at Worongary. This emphasis on sport and physical activity has a positive effect on students' achievements in all facets of school life and in the schools sense of community and achievements.
